Carr's Hill is the home of the University of Virginia's President. The President's home serves as the backdrop for university and community events. Since its completion in 1909, Carr’s Hill has welcomed students, faculty, staff, alumni, community leaders, two Presidents of the United States, and many other distinguished guests from around the world. Today, Carr's Hill continues to bring together people from the University and the community for a wide variety of events.  Each event continues Carr’s Hill's long history as a place where ideas are born, opinions are exchanged, relationships are forged, and people and their accomplishments are celebrated.
